Vegetation ranges from Palo Verde, cacti,
creosote bush and mesquite trees to chaparral, oak and pine where the terrain slopes
upward north north-east into the Prescott National Forest and the mountains. |
| Annual events include Gold Rush Days. An annual
event for over 50 years, this is a celebration of Wickenburg's rich heritage. Music,
dancing, a real old-fashioned melodrama, horses, floats and food - it's all a part of
Wickenburg's most action packed weekend of the year. Always the second full weekend in
February, so be sure to make your reservations early at the Los Viajeros Inn! |
